I think I’m in love with Sharlto Copley… I just saw District 9… and yes, I know this is like a last year film, but I was on a cinema diet (basically I’m trying to save my money by not spending it on too many cinema visits) and I finally saw it thanks to my house mate (he have the cd)…
when I first saw the movie, I never guessed that he is the main character… I think it was only after his transformation or maybe after he escaped from the lab was when I first took notice of him… what a transformation!! in the beginning, he doesn’t look at all like an interesting character… i actually thought he looks lame… and yes, the film drags a bit in the beginning… but in the second half, he was a delight to watch…
i went in not knowing much what the film was about… i know it was about aliens (duh)… and i think i’ve heard that it resembles apartheid or something like it… but that was about all i know about the movie…
i still can’t believe he haven’t acted in a lot more movies… he is just great… crazy good… i still can’t get over how changed he looks in the end… he started out as this pale looking forgettable person to someone with such intense…
all I can say is that I can’t wait for A-team to come out… I hope he does well in that too
